Feminism
My relationship with art has been mostly one of avoidance since I was 15 but since completing a feminist course with The Centre for Feminist Thought I have been making art almost daily.
The tragedy on October 7th and continued conflict… I find it difficult to process my emotions around the issue and so my outlet has been a variety of mixed media. Views are my own, not Grok’s or in any way affiliated with xAI.
I will likely have further pages developed in the near future covering different fun collaborations I did with Grok on less controversial topics. I do not want to harm Grok’s reputation in any way. I highly recommend listening to Fleet Foxes whilst viewing this page.

My intention was to use art to give short facts about what was happening and an attempt to connect with the women and children (albeit remotely and virtually) from my own corner of Yorkshire.
The polarity of the discourse has largely silenced me of late – that and experiencing a mental health episode.
I became progressively withdrawn as all I could see was folk shouting at each other in the comforting worlds of the west where I live – feasting on propaganda from both sides.
My bairns and I attended a march in the early days of the reignited conflict and I distributed some protest art. I made stickers ona little Polino printer I got to make shipping labels for small sales of my bairns’ old clothes.
At the same time the feminist movement became increasingly fractured and I often found myself caught between complex arguments that I don’t think I fully grasped.
Anyway. I’ll let the art speak for itself – for me all art is good if it comes from a place of truth.
Making art really helps my mental health stay above water.
